Beautiful gite, full of character, for 4 to 5 +cot

'L’Hibiscus' sleeps 4 to 5 people and is the largest of three gites forming part of Barès, a traditional farmhouse in the beautiful Haute Garonne département in Occitanie, South West France. Although joined to the main house, it is self-contained, with its own private entrance, terrace and garden. This beautiful and characterful gîte has shared use of the luxury 10 X 5m swimming pool and 1.5 hectares of grounds. 50 mins from Toulouse, an hour to the Pyrenees and 75 mins to the nearest skiing. The space Gite L’Hibiscus (formerly Gîte La Colline), is the oldest part of a traditional farmhouse. An open-plan and well-equipped kitchen-diner leads into the large and airy main bedroom, with king-sized bed and patio doors onto the private terrace. The large bathroom has a WC, large shower, basin and washing machine. The sitting room is at the heart of the gite. It used to be the farm kitchen and has a high ceiling and ancient beams, the original fireplace and bread oven, to which has been added a wood burning stove for cosy evenings in Winter, and stairs (with stair gate) up to a small mezzanine with a single bed (unsuitable for small children). Through the sitting room is the cosy second bedroom with a large double bed. The gite has its own entrance at the front and private terrace and garden, with barbecue, at the back. Although it adjoins the main house, it is completely self-contained and feels very private. It is well-equipped, with bed linen and towels provided and there will be wine, beer, juice, milk, fresh bread, butter, jam, ham, cheese, tea and coffee waiting for you on arrival. Guests from the three gites share the 1.5 hectares of land, the fabulous pool, table tennis and other games, and there are some bikes guests are welcome to borrow. Guest access As well as the gite, guests can access the 1.5 hectares of land and swimming pool which is shared with guests in the other two gîtes.
