Description
Detached 1850s stone built cottage found at the end of a private driveway. A real hidden gem in small town on the edge of the Peak District. It has been fully renovated so provides modern comforts with characterful period features. The space The cottage was built in the 1850s. It has been fully modernised inside but still retains great character. Deep window sills, original fireplaces, lovely drystone walls in the garden, but excellent gas central heating, a log burning stove and a modern kitchen with everything you need to feel at home. Guest access The whole cottage with a private garden is available for your use. Other things to note I use and provide eco friendly cleaning products wherever possible, mostly Ecover, and wash bedding and towels with non-bio unfragranced Ecover. For families: There is a low wall in the garden so younger children will need to be supervised. For older/disabled guests: Bedrooms are upstairs accessed by stairs with a bannister at first, then there are three steps up to one bedroom on the left and three steps up to the other bedroom on the right. There is no bannister for these steps. Please consult with me if in doubt before booking.
