Hiking, cycling/mountain biking, enjoyment - experience the southern Palatinate in our idyllic family winery on the German Wine Route! Excursions to Speyer, Heidelberg or Alsace (Strasbourg, Wissembourg) - Hiking in the forests and vineyards - Climbing in the rocky landscape - Ending the day in rustic wine taverns: we are ideally located. Good bus and train connections. English-speaking guests welcome! The space We have continuously renovated our house from 1950 over the years and added new things to what is worth preserving. Your accommodation, a vacation apartment, is ideally located for a variety of activities. Whether you want to explore the vineyards right outside the front door or the Palatinate Forest on certified premium hiking trails or enjoy wellness and relaxation in the 2 km away spa Bad Bergzabern (Südpfalztherme). The state horticultural showground in Landau/Pfalz or Alsace are in the immediate vicinity (about 15 km). For climbing enthusiasts: The Dahner Felsenland with numerous illustrious sandstone formations is just a stone's throw away! For bicycles, motorcycles, etc., we are happy to offer you storage facilities. In the neighboring village (2 km) there are some opportunities for breakfast, sometimes from 6 am; we are happy to assist you with recommendations. The same applies to daytime catering or restaurant tips (there are almost a dozen restaurants in our town alone). Of course, you can also stock up on everything you need in the supermarket and store and prepare it in "your" kitchen. Guest access The apartment consists of a kitchen-living room, a bedroom with double bed (2 x 2 m) and a bathroom (shower & toilet) for your own use. Only the hallway and the entrance to the house may be shared with other guests. Your apartment is completely separate from our private area. You have your area for yourself where you can feel undisturbed. Nevertheless, a glass of wine with us in the evening rarely stands in the way, in summer also in the garden. Important: Wheelchair users or guests with strollers, please note that the apartment is accessible only via stairs. Washing machine and dryer may be used, please ask. The entire interior is smoke-free (this also includes e-cigarettes, etc.). Outside the building, however, we offer a covered space for the vice. During your stay We live on the property ourselves and are usually available on site during the day. As a rule, my parents take over the reception of guests because I travel a lot professionally and privately. However, you can always contact me at short notice via email or text message during your stay.
