Please see full description. The space Pleasant room with queen-sized innerspring bed in 3-bedroom, 2 bathroom upper flat of large 1908 duplex near Oakland Kaiser. Double French doors open onto a small balcony. Television in room has AppleTV. From the balcony in your room, and from the living room, Mount Tamalpais and Downtown San Francisco can be spotted between neighbors' houses. From the back upstairs deck, the views are of Oakland toward Piedmont Avenue and the Oakland hills beyond. Street parking is limited, and it is important to note posted parking restrictions on two street cleaning days each month. Nearby Mosswood Park has an amphitheatre, a dance studio, a baseball field, a community garden, indoor and outdoor rental space, basketball courts, tennis courts, and plenty of grassy space for picnics and gatherings. The house is within easy walking distance to the gourmet dining/shopping districts of Piedmont Avenue and College Avenue, as well as Kaiser Permanente's Oakland hospital complex and Summit Medical Center. Access to San Francisco is easy via direct commuter bus (Line CB or C) during commute hours, and the Rockridge and MacArthur BART stations are each within a mile of the house, reachable by foot or by frequent city bus (Line 51A or 57). The 51A bus also provides very easy access to downtown Oakland's City Center business and shopping district, and other Transbay buses, with no need to search and pay for parking. In the other direction, the 51 buses go up College Avenue to UC Berkeley and the downtown Berkeley shopping district, then as far as 4th Street shopping district and the Berkeley Marina. The 12 bus stop is three blocks away, and goes more directly to downtown Berkeley, and the other direction to Lake Merritt. Guest access Guest refrigerator, guest bathroom, hair dryer, towels and sheets, washer/dryer, iron and board, front and back balconies, kitchen appliances and utensils, spices; basically everything you need. During your stay I am frequently at home and available to offer help and advice on local attractions, shopping, et cetera. Happy to help! Other things to note Downstairs neighbor also uses laundry equipment about once per week. Please be mindful of downstairs neighbors and minimize noise late at night. I have an admin who comes to work in the dining room once per week to help with my paperwork.
