The Cart Lodge - a rural country retreat.

Relax in this detached former cart lodge surrounded by beautiful countryside and located in the owners’ grounds in a great rural location. The Cart Lodge can accommodate up to 5 people, with the Master Bedroom having a King size bed and the second bedroom having a Queen size bed and single bed. We take the utmost care in cleaning the property including disinfecting frequently touched surfaces between reservations so that it is safe for our guests upon arrival. The space The Cart Lodge is located in a village celebrating 800 years, with the village comprising a village pub (The Five Bells, located a short walk away), a church, primary school and village shop. The next nearest and biggest town is Halstead, about 3 miles away. Sudbury, located in Suffolk, is just a little further afield, about 8 miles. Colchester, Britain's oldest recorded town, is about 20 minutes drive away. Guest access The Cart Lodge is completely set contained with access via key safe and comes with its own parking and private garden with charcoal BBQ. Other things to note The shower/WC is located on the ground floor and the bedrooms are located on the 1st floor. There is no electric car charging facilities, but should you wish to charge your car there will be an overnight fee of £25.
