Right in the middle of nature, in the heart of the Veluwe, you will find this wonderful recreational home. The peacefulness, spaciousness, and (wooded) surroundings offer a welcome change from the everyday hustle and bustle. There are opportunities for hiking, biking, horseback riding, and recreation in the immediate area. Also the kids will not be bored (Apenheul, Koningin Juliana Toren, Petting Zoo). The vacation home has two spacious bedrooms and a somewhat smaller room and is suitable for up to 5 adults. The space This spacious cottage is located at the edge of nature reserve Natura 2000 and offers all the modern comforts you require (free Wi-Fi, smart TV). From the living room you can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view. Also located on the first floor is the kitchen with cooking facilities (4-burner gas), oven, refrigerator with freezer and dishwasher. Of course, there is also a large dining room table with matching chairs. There are three bedrooms, with one (on the first floor) having a comfortable double box spring and a bathroom en-suite (with rain shower). The second and third bedrooms are located on the second floor and have 2 and 1 (box spring) beds respectively. A separate toilet room with a double sink and shower is available on the first floor. A staircase gate can easily be placed upstairs so that even small guests can sleep and play safely. A crib and or high chair are available upon request. The use of the hot tub is available for an additional payment of €60, excluding the use of firewood, which is available for an additional payment. If you give notice in time (at least 48 hours), the cleaning service will already fill the hot tub with clean water before arrival, so that you can start heating it up immediately upon arrival. Guest access The cottage has a private entrance for guests and two parking spaces are available on site. The cottage is entirely at guests' disposal. The owners are located at a comfortable distance, on the spacious grounds, and everyone will be able to stay in peace. Other things to note The beds are made up depending on the number of people booked. When making a reservation for two, the two beds in the bedroom on the first floor. For any additional persons, there are bedrooms on the second floor. Bedrooms not needed for the specified occupancy will be closed. If you have (other) wishes, please indicate this at the time of booking. Towels and bedding are provided. The beds are made upon arrival. If there are children under the age of two, we will charge a normal fee for their stay, just like an adult. This because of the cost associated with the stay of these children anyway. There is no extra charge for the use of a fixed baby bed (not a camping cot) and or a high chair. To operate the electronic entrance gate we ask for a deposit of € 50 in cash. You will be refunded when you leave and return both the key and the remote control. In addition, you must pay the tourist tax on the spot. This has been set by the municipality of Epe at €1.40 per person/per night for 2024. We do not have an ATM machine. Finally: Because our vacation home is located near Tongeren Estate and we would like to preserve and protect this estate as well as possible, we ask our guests to make a one-time donation of €25 to the Foundation for the Preservation of Tongeren Estate in Epe. By booking, you agree to this. With this, we also hope to be able to maintain the quality of nature. This donation is already included in the rental price, so there is no need to pay separately on the spot.
