A lovely holiday cottage by the sea in a beautiful location on the Lofoten Islands. The house was originally a permanent residence, but has now been renovated into a holiday home! The space TRANSPORTATION: - There is a big parking area just in front of the main entrance, enough space for 4 cars! - 7 minute walk to public transport: The bus station "Fredvang (Flakstad)" - 8 minute drive to Ramstad: where you can find grocery store, bakery and gas station - 40 minute drive to Airport: Leknes Lufthavn - 35 minute drive to Moskenes (Bodø ferry) HIKES / TRIPS - Only 1 hour hike from doorstep to famous Kvalvika Beach! - 30 minute drive to beautiful Reine This part of Lofoten has a magnificent hiking terrain. Along the sea at Fredvang and at Ramberg are idyllic sandy beaches where you can enjoy the salty sea air. From the Torsfjord close by you can follow the hiking trail over the mountain to Kvalvika on Moskenesøyas west side with its large sandy beach surrounded by mighty mountains. The view from the mountain to the big sea is impressive. Remains from the old settlement can still be seen here. Nice starting point for car trips around Lofoten. Visit the fishing villages Reine and Å furthest south in Lofoten, surrounded by mighty mountains. Nusfjord on Flakstadøya is an intact fishing village from ancient times. The weight on the west side of Flakstadøy has its own glass art workshop. Guest access You will have private access to the whole cabin all by your self! Other things to note Driveway is a little steep, especially in slippery winter months. There are additional parking spots 50 meters from the driveway.
