Guest House

The guest house is a 20 x 16 ft. studio which sits on 115 acres of woods and fields with great views just outside Brookville. It is approximately 20 yards from the main house and equipped with a queen bed, a sofa, full bath with walk in shower, and small refrigerator, toaster oven, microvave, and TV. The property has multiple walking trails and is situated approximately 5 miles from Route 80. It is also close to Cook's Forest, the Clarion River, and Punxsutawney. The space The Guest House has sleeping room for 3 with a queen bed and a sofa. It is mainly designed for 2 people so if 3 people rent one person will be sleeping on the couch. There are sheets and blankets in the chest at the foot of the bed. There is a dining area with a small coffee maker and table; a small refrigerator, microwave, and toaster oven. There is a flat screen TV with DISH and multiple outlets for electronics. The grounds have multiple walking trails and great views. There is a campfire site for use in good weather (you do not need to bring your own wood). Cell phone reception is good. We have WIFI but it is not always reliable. There is parking next to the house. It may require 4WD in bad weather to negotiate the driveway (3 tenths of a mile unpaved country lane) but either way go slowly as it is not always easy to negotiate. The Guest house is smoke free. There are two dogs on the property. Please do not feed them or allow them in the Guest House. No pets. Guest access Guests are welcome to use the fire pit, walking trails, and other areas of the property. You do not need to bring your own wood. Other things to note There is a white binder in the guest house with restaurants and things to do although with recent restrictions we suggest you call them ahead. We will speak to you when we see you out and about and would love to get to know you but will also respect your privacy if you do not wish to interact. There is a queen sized bed and a sofa so can accommodate 3 if someone wants to sleep on the couch.
