Description
Sea Palling is a village in the Norfolk Broads. Skies are big and clear, the air refreshed by North Sea storms. Nights are dark, silence unbroken. The cottage sits on the edge of a large arable field across which runs a public footpath to sand dunes and miles of uninterupted sandy beach. A stable door to the cottage leads into a beamed sitting room with a large inglenook, a multi-fuel stove and central heating. From this cosy spot it is but a short walk to a village shop and Post Office. The space This is a recently reworked old cottage on the edge of farmland overlooking sand dunes of the North Sea. It is a great for active grandparents, walkers, cold water swimmers, lovers, and those who just want time out. Previously known as Midthatch it is now rebranded as Midhollies, with a new pantile roof and refigured interior. Guest access The cottage has a spacious beamed bedroom with exposed brick chimney piece and leather armchairs. It overlooks the south facing shingle garden and farmland beyond. Lovely for wet weather reading and sundowners at sunset. Other things to note Please remember to wash up before you leave, strip beds and leave washing in the shower room, rubbish and recycling goes in bins by the car park. Obviously, if you bring a dog please pick up, clean up and try to keep the four-leggeds downstairs (gate provided).
