Enjoying spectacular views this 2 bedroom, dog friendly lodge sits on the top of Leckhampton Hill, enjoying easy access to the famous ‘Cotswold Way’ walk and is a 5 minute drive from the town centre of regency Cheltenham. The Lodge also includes a 3.5m outdoor kitchen looking over The Malvern Hills. The kitchen includes a large built in BBQ, a pizza oven and sink. The space Cheltenham View Lodge is perfectly placed in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with immediate access to the famous Cotswold Way Walk. The Lodge has 2 large double bedrooms with plenty of light and very high vaulted ceilings. The bedrooms now benefit from electric blinds in the eves. There is then a separate full kitchen/ dining room with a dining table, oven, stove, microwave, toaster etc and a sofa bed for a 5th guest (please note there is an extra charge for the sofa bed). There are 2 large shower rooms. One of the bathrooms sits in between the 2 bedrooms and is a 'Jack & Jill' bathroom with locks on both doors allowing guests to choose between privacy or open plan living for younger families. We are a dog friendly lodge and lots of our guests come for the famous walks all around us. We have a gas BBQ on our beautiful patio (gas provided). We also have some good relationships with some great local take aways such as a sushi company and a high end dinner service. There are multiple parking spaces and patio area allowing for people to sit out on garden furniture and enjoy the west facing views. There is a private path on our land you can access around the back of the lodge. It is about 80m long and perfect for taking your dog out in the mornings and evenings. *Please note, for the sofa bed there is a charge. If you book for 5 people you will be charged automatically and won't need to do anything. If you book for less than 5 people then please mention it when you book and I can send an invoice. we charge £30 per night for use of the sofa bed to cover the cost of the linen, extra cleaning, and set up. **Please note that some of our images are from a wedding proposal we had at the lodge, we do not provide fairy lights and candles but you are welcome to set this up yourself for special occasions. *** We do list a charging station for electric cars but it is at our house next door. You are welcome to make use of it but we do ask you to cover the rough costs of the energy you use. As our average guest stays 2 nights we don’t feel we can soak up the costs. We hope it’s an additional benefit that guests don’t have to go out to charge. We would love to host you in our unique property so please let us know if you have any questions at all. Guest access The lodge has its own private entrance and driveway. It is a self- contained property which sits approximately 70m away from our house. It is a private space and has a 10 ft fence between our garden and the lodge with a small opening for access. Other things to note There is an option for massage therapy from a local therpaist subject to availability. The charge is around 75 pounds per hour for massage therapy. Please get in touch for availability. You have a huge patio to yourselves as well as the private drive. The patio is around 18m long/ 3m. The Lodge does sit 70 m from our house and on our land. We have 3 children and they will at times be in our garden and around our land playing. So please do expect some noise from them from time to time. Please note if you are booking a party of 5 guests, the 5th guest will sleep on a sofa bed in the kitchen/ dinning room. we do not have a 3rd bedroom. We do list a charging station, but it is at our house next door. You are welcome to make use of it but we do ask you to cover the rough costs of the energy you use. We had new electric blinds fitted in the window eves in November 2025, so please ignore any previous feedback about not having them previously. We provide gas for the outdoor kitchen/ bbq. But if you want a supply of kindling, fire lighters and wood for the fire pit, you can bring your own or we provide a basket for £7.50 just to cover our costs. With the price of wood now we feel we need to add this charge. Please message us know if you would like us to provide this.
