Stratton Quaint Guest house

A beautiful guest house with private hiking trails (overgrown in the fall, summer months) on 70acres and 5 miles and a ten minute drive to the ski mountain! No one will be in the main house during your stay. There is a security camera at the entryway. Please note: we provide wifi however it is spotty and can be slow at times. Wi-Fi information can be found on the refrigerator. The space Cable provided. Full access to apartment and mud room which includes full washer and dryer for use. Garage is restricted and has cameras. Please do not enter either from outside or interior door. Guest access There is a lock box to enter and an alarm code to deactivate once you enter the premises. We will provide this information once you book. There are cameras outside the property and one camera in the entrance way before you head to your apartment. There are no other cameras on premises. If you have Verizon wireless, you should have a strong cell phone signal. Other providers have limited or no signal. WIFI network info can be found on the fridge. Internet connection will be much faster in the early am but will slow. WIFI is not great in our location. We have provided basic amenities: kitchenware, towels. Please bring all your own toiletries. If you need to do laundry during your stay, please feel free to use the washer and dryer in the entranceway. You can also shop and have use of the refrigerator. This is a non-smoking, pet free residence. Please park in the driveway, the garage is used for storage only and will not be available for vehicles. Things to Do: Our hiking trails. If you make a LEFT out of the front door you, will find a pathway leading away from the house (Gass Gateway). This will loop around the property.. You can follow the path into the woods for a lovely hike through our property. Stratton Mountain: Enjoy days of skiing and fun at the mountain just 5 miles down the road. Fastest way to get there is: Right on Canedy Road. At the end of Canedy, make a Right (West Jamaica Road). Then make a Left at the next road (Mountain Road). Take Mountain Road to the end and make a Left on Stratton Mountain Access Road. You will quickly approach the mountain. If you arrive early (usually before 9am) Lot 1 is open. Otherwise you may need to park in Lot 2. There are shuttles available to the mountain.
