Caversham Hill Cottage is a quaint, spacious, self catering cottage situated on a 7 hectare small holding in the KZN Midlands. The cottage features one bedroom, one bathroom, an open plan kitchen and living area, small patio and private garden. WIFI and Netflix is available. Set in peaceful surroundings with a breath-taking view of the valley, unwind with a relaxing countryside getaway. Enjoy an early morning run or stroll through the plantation, or explore the Midlands Meander close by. The space We are right on the Midlands Meander, just a ten minute drive from Midmar Dam and 15 minutes from Howick. Michael House is only 10 minutes away. We are completely off the grid and run on solar power, so if you are looking for a break from loadshedding, look no further! There is plenty to do and see in the Midlands, but it's also a beautiful place to just come and relax. So if you want adventure, exercise, sight-seeing or just a place to de-stress then don't hesitate to book with us, we would love to have you! Other things to note We are completely off grid and run on solar power so that means no loadshedding! The use of electric heaters and electric blankets are strictly forbidden. A woodburning fireplace keeps the cottage toasty warm on chilly days, wood is provided. There is no oven but there is a 4 plate gas stove, microwave, kettle, toaster and fridge/freezer. There is a gas geyser and gas heater. We have a borehole on the property and the water is safe to drink and tastes delicious. We provide wood for the fireplace and braai. If you need firelighters then please bring your own. We do provide newspaper and a lighter.
