*NB: June to September bookings are weekly Saturday to Saturday* The Wine Lodge at Chateau Feely is a gorgeous ecological gite with stunning views on an organic vineyard with pool, AC and wine school/wine tours on site. It is 10 minutes walk to Saussignac - a quintessential French village. Excellent for walkers, winelovers and cyclists. Chateau Feely won the Best Of Wine Tourism Gold Trophy for Accommodation on a vineyard in 2017 and a National Gold Trophy for wine tourism 2019. The space The Wine Lodge is a 4 person wonderful ecological guest house on an organic vineyard about one hour from Bordeaux city (5 minutes from the nearest SNCF station Gardonne and just 15 minutes from Bergerac airport). Your hosts Sean and Caro Feely offer you a warm welcome, a wine school on site and 30 acres of beautiful organic farmland with magnificent views. There is parking and WIFI available. Ideally located between St Emilion and Bergerac where you can explore the wonderful wines and castles of the region. - walking distance to two restaurants - wine classes, lunches & tours on site at a certified wine school - magnificent views Within a 5 minute radius you will find a wonderful selection of six restaurants including gourmet and casual: Lion D'Or and the 1500 in Saussignac (8 mins walk), the bus brothers (15 mins walk) Michelin starred Vigiers Les Fresques (8 mins drive) Famille Moutier in Monestier (8 mins drive), and the Pizzeria in Gardonne (5 minutes drive). Within a 20 minute radius there is an almost infinite selection including a few of our favourites like Michelin starred La Tour des Vents in Monbazillac, Au Fil d'Eau in Port Ste Foy and L'Imparfait in Bergerac. Popular activities within a few minutes of us include golfing at Chateau Vigiers championship course, canoeing on the Dordogne, walking (we are on the grand randonnee), tennis (8 mins walk in Saussignac), horseriding (5 minutes drive) and swimming.
