A wild garden with chickens, a yoga loft, wood-burning stoves and a boathouse with the rowboat "Freistunde" await you. Perfect for swimming, paddle boarding, cycling and relaxing. The space The lovingly furnished "teacher's apartment" of the Alte Schule Brandenburg is located in the idyllic 64-inhabitant village of Sechzehneichen – surrounded by fields, forests and two nearby lakes. The large wildlife garden with chickens that provide our guests with fresh eggs invites you to relax and unwind. The teacher's apartment: The approximately 116 m² teacher apartment can accommodate up to 6 people and has three bedrooms, a large kitchen-living room, a living room, a bathroom and a yoga loft. The Old School can be booked either as a whole house or as two separate vacation apartments. Only part of the house is rented out in this listing. Two connecting doors inside the house will be locked. Both apartments have separate entrances, so you won't run into each other in the house. You only share the garden and the rowboat with the guests of the other apartment, provided it is occupied during the same period. Cozy even in winter: The teacher's apartment is heated by wood stoves. In the bedrooms, additional radiators are available in winter, and the beds are equipped with electric blankets. Garden & Facilities: In the house you will find board games, puzzles and toys for children. In the barn, you also have two stand-up paddle boards, an inflatable alpaca, a hammock, deck chairs, a barbecue and other garden furniture at your disposal. For cozy evenings, you can use the fire pit for roasting bread on a stick or for marshmallows. A projector can be set up either in the living room or – if the weather is suitable – in the garden for an open-air cinema. Yoga: Mats, blocks, belts and blankets are available in the yoga loft for up to 9 people. Please note that the loft is not usable in the cold months. Boathouse & "Free Time": The Alte Schule has its own boathouse, only about 5 minutes away by car. Our rowing boat "Freistunde" is located there. It can be used by our guests and has room for a maximum of 5 people. In addition, two SUPs and an inflatable alpaca are available in the barn by the house for excursions on the water. Even more relaxation: On request, you can also book a sauna barrel, which will be delivered for your stay. A charging facility is available for electric cars. Nature & Surroundings: Tranquility begins right outside the front door: fields, forests and lakes invite you to go for walks, bike, swim, paddle and go on excursions by rowboat. From Berlin you need about 1.5 hours by car, from Hamburg about 2 hours. Reservation: Minimum stay is 2 nights. A longer minimum stay may apply on public holidays and during vacations.
