From the house, the southerly views over the Kent Weald are truly spectacular, and the terraced gardens offer peaceful spots to sit, relax, or sunbathe. Accommodation • King-size bed with luxurious linen, duck-down pillows and duvet • Private bathroom (just steps from the bedroom, exclusively for your use) with towels and toiletries provided • Flexible accommodation options, including a master suite (details and pricing on request) • Entire house rental also available by arrangement Dining Breakfast can be cooked by guests on either the Aga or a conventional oven and enjoyed under the covered terrace overlooking the gardens. Catering can also be arranged on request. Location • 5 mins to Oxted with shops, cafés, and a Waitrose • Direct trains: 30 minutes to London Bridge • Close to the M25, Gatwick Airport and Biggin Hill • Surrounded by stunning National Trust countryside for walking and cycling Several excellent pubs and restaurants are available with one (The Carpenters) just minutes walk away over the Chart. The Grumpy Mole, a collection of bespoke country inns, is less than a 10 minute drive away. Here they offer a memorable experience, freshly cooked food from a sandwich to an exquisite candle lit dinner. Well worth planning for a special occasion or booking in advance a great venue offering very flexible options to suit all your needs. Deep Well is a prime location for visiting Sussex, Kent and Surrey’s spectacular selection of English castles and gardens, notably: Chartwell, Sissinghurst, Leeds, Ightham Mote and Scotney castle. A little further away are the gorgeous gardens of Nymans and the fascinating Standen House, a rare National Trust Art Nouveau house in East Grinstead. The beautiful St Andrew’s Church is a 2 minute walk away a beautiful setting and location for weddings. Car parking is available behind closed gates for added security. I also offer a drop off/ pick up service for a small fee to cover costs. If I’m not available then a taxi can be arranged from the local train station or local town if you’d like to enjoy a few drinks. Guest access • Private double bedroom with exclusive bathroom (not en-suite but just along the corridor) • Covered terrace for breakfast or evening drinks overlooking the garden • Terraced gardens with several seating areas available to enjoy • Secure gated parking on the drive Additional options, such as catering or use of other rooms, can be arranged by request. During your stay I live on-site, so I’m usually available if you need anything, but I also respect your privacy and want you to feel completely at home. Whether you’d like tips on the best local pubs and walks, help with travel arrangements, or simply a quiet stay, I’m happy to adapt to whatever suits you. For longer bookings or special occasions, I can also help arrange catering, transport, or recommendations to make your stay as smooth and enjoyable as possible. Other things to note The bathroom is private for your use only, but it isn’t en-suite — it’s just a short step along the corridor. • Check-in is from 4:00pm and check-out by 10:00am (flexibility can sometimes be arranged by request). • Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate pets. • No smoking or vaping inside the house, please. • Quiet hours are between 10:00pm and 7:00am to keep the atmosphere peaceful. • Breakfast is self-catered (Aga and conventional oven available). Catering can be arranged for longer stays or special occasions. • Secure gated parking is available on the drive.
