Maringotka Bedřiška is located on a meadow partly surrounded by trees, right in the middle of Bedřichov (so don't expect solitude!), the starting point to the Jizera Mountains and within walking distance of cross-country trails and ski lifts. The caravan provides completely self-sufficient accommodation without electricity and running water. To warm up, you have to heat the water from the local stream on the stove. For those who appreciate a hot bath, a shower and sauna are available in the next hotel (closed off-season). The space The trailer has a common space for sleeping, cooking and relaxing with a separate bathroom. The small kitchen is equipped with a stove, sink and basic utensils for preparing meals. The water is heated on the stove. A 190 cm wide fold-out bed and a fold-out sofa for two are available for sleeping. Both beds can be used as sofas to relax with a view. The bathroom is self-contained, with a shower, a small sink and a composting toilet, thus ensuring the possibility of basic hygiene. However, do not count on running or hot water. For bathing, you need to preheat the water on the stove and use buckets to pour it, or you can arrange a shower in the next hotel (if it is not closed) for a fee of CZK 50. Under the caravan there is a storage space in which skis and other sports equipment can be locked. Guest access A paved road leads to the trailer, on which up to 3 vehicles can be parked in close proximity to the trailer. Then you need to go up the short, steeper stairs directly to the door. The entire caravan is available along with the meadow around it and the driveway. Guests are required to pay a parking fee of CZK 100/night when contacted by the property owner (not us). Other things to note Parking is not included. Sometimes the owner requires a payment of 100 CZK/day, but this is not always the case. Guests are responsible for their own firewood, or they can use the wood in the caravan for a fee of CZK 100 per a banana of wood (approx. 10 kg). Quilts and pillows are prepared in the caravan, for which we ask guests to bring their own linen. If necessary, we will rent linen for an additional fee of 100 CZK/set. We recommend packing a headlamp, flashlight and power bank. The solar panels don't recharge our batteries, so there's no electricity. However, you will have power banks and a portable flashlight on site. In the winter months, when there is enough snow, it is possible to put on cross-country skis right in front of the caravan and go straight to the cross-country tracks that lead from the stadium less than a kilometer away. With Maringotka, we also run a rental of electric bikes and running equipment at Královka together with a ski school and outdoor activities (ski alps, snowshoes, rock climbing, abseiling from the lookout tower, ...).
