La Ponderosa - One-Bedroom Casita

La Ponderosa Cortijo is nestled amongst the mountains along a windy tarmac road, less than a mile from the beautiful village of Bedar. Ideal for walkers and cyclists who wish to explore the area and tranquil enough for people who just wish to chill out and unwind in the gorgeous Spanish countryside. La Ponderosa is within easy reach of the beautiful beaches of Mojacar, Garrucha and Vera. The space Casita 2 Comfortably furnished ground floor one bedroomed Casita, with its own separate entrance way, terrace, kitchen/dining/lounge area, bathroom and bedroom. An air conditioning unit is fitted in the bedroom which is also is a form of heating and an electric fire is in the lounge. The outside space has its own table and chairs by the entranceway and a walkway around the Cortijo to the guests private garden area, with covered pergola, large outdoor table and chairs. Follow the walkway around the Cortijo through a side gate and up some steps to the outside pool and screened terraced area (shared with the owners) this area offers a very private setting for swimming and lounging in the warm Spanish sunshine. There is also an outside bathroom with toilet/wet room. Within the screened terrace area you will find an outdoor kitchen, with charcoal built in bbq, gas hob, microwave oven fridge/freezer and sink. Next to the kitchen is a gym area with a selection of gym equipment including cross trainer, spin bike, pull up bar, chin up bar and selection of weights and matting. The gym area has a television with english freeview and DVD player. This one bedroomed Casita is for two adults ONLY. We also have a two bedroomed Casita advertised on airbnb so you may be sharing communal areas i.e. the pool, gym and games area with other guests. There is a 3 night minimum stay for this accommodation. Guest access The property is 1 km from the village of Bedar along a windy tarmac road. When approaching the entranceway to La Ponderosa there is a sharp right hand turn and then you need to accelerate to go up the driveway and do a left hand turn on an incline.
