A villa that takes you back to the avant-garde architecture of the 1970s. The spaces are huge, both inside and outside: 3000m2 of garden, 8 rooms plus kitchen and 3 bathrooms. The area you will live in the most, however, will be the outdoor patio overlooking the large swimming pool. On summer evenings, it is a great pleasure to dine outside, perhaps using the barbecue. The space The villa is immersed in a garden of about 3,000 m^2 that surrounds it on all four sides. From the entrance gate of the property, via a paved avenue that crosses the front of the garden, you arrive at a clearing where you can park your cars. From there, two stone-paved paths wind to the two sides of the villa and lead you to the main patio, raised from the front garden. The patio is equipped with several plastic tables and chairs, some deckchairs, two swings, a couple of sun loungers and a barbecue with an adjoining sink for your summer barbecues. Beyond the patio is the swimming pool, for the private use of the villa's guests. It is a very large pool (15x7) that allows you not only to cool off, but to do real swimming (as well as water polo, diving or simple relaxation). The depth of the pool is variable, in the lower part it is about 1.5 m, in the upper part about 2.4 m. In the upper part there is a trampoline (which must be strictly used only by one person at a time). Beyond the pool, the ground slopes down again with a lawn, to the edge of the property enclosed with trees and a fence. On the opposite side of the pool, with respect to the patio, 3 steps lead you to the two entrances of the villa. One leads directly to the kitchen, which is attached to a half bathroom with a washing machine. The kitchen is old but functional, and you will find pots, plates, glasses and cutlery in sufficient quantities. The other entrance door from the patio leads to an entrance that divides the living area from the sleeping area. The living area, in addition to the kitchen, bathroom and entrance, includes a dining room and a very large living room, divided by a half partition. The living room is equipped with a masonry fireplace (of interest to guests who come in autumn/winter). From the entrance, a few steps lead you to the sleeping area, consisting of a corridor overlooking 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The bathrooms were completely renovated in 2019, one of them is equipped with a shower, the other with a bathtub with shower and wall above the bathtub. All four bedrooms are very large. Under standard conditions, they accommodate two people (double bed or two single beds), but if necessary, they can all accommodate a third bed and one of them even a fourth. All windows and entrance doors are equipped with mosquito nets. **TOURIST TAX** The municipality of Maruggio has established an accommodation tax starting in 2025. The tax, to be paid at check-in, is €1.00 per day per person, only for the first 7 nights. Children under the age of 12 are exempt.
