Modern en-suite double room nr station & hospital

Modern & minimalist en suite bedroom. Memory foam mattress, 7 mins walk from train station & short bus ride to Peterborough City Hospital. Ten mins walk to Queensgate shopping centre. En suite private bathroom. Private driveway with CCTV for car & EV Type 2 charging point - 7kW (at extra cost). We have a greyhound dog in our home. She is quiet and friendly. She doesn’t go in to the guest room so no dog hairs or pet smells in there. Guests access to kitchen for: microwave, kettle & fridge. The space The guest room and en suite bathroom are in a new build (2016) on a residential road of modern and Victorian build houses. In Autumn 2022 we installed an electric vehicle charging port which guests can use by arrangement for an additional fee. EV Type 2 charging point (7kW/hr). The bedroom is in the north eastern side of the house so it is cool in the summer and has stunning sunrise skies, especially in the winter. The room is warm and cozy in winter with a hot water bottle available for cold months and a fan available for summer as well as blackout blinds and shutters for privacy and better sleep quality. There is a large inbuilt wardrobe with full length mirror and with a hairdryer, iron and ironing board available in the room. There is a drop-down desk and chair for laptop use in the room. There are two nightstand lamps with dimmer switches and both have integrated USB and USB C charging points for easy charging of phones and other devices. Guests have access to our shared kitchen for use of the microwave, kettle, toaster and fridge. Guests can use our tea/coffee/sugar and there is filtered tap water available too. Please note: the oven and hob/cooker are not available for guest use. We do what we can to reduce our carbon footprint and use items (like toilet paper from ‘Who Gives A Crap’ and hand soap from ‘Bower Collective’) and cleaning products (like ‘Smol’) which have low or positive carbon footprints. Guest access Access to the kitchen for basic meal prep using the kettle, toaster, fridge and microwave. We are happy to share tea and coffee. Please note use of oven, air fryer or hob are not included. Other things to note We live with a much-loved rescue greyhound who will enjoy a stroke and some attention if you are happy to interact with her. She won’t bother you but please note that we do live with a dog in case you prefer to stay in a pet-free home.
