Nagymaros-Visegrád by train is 40 minutes from Budapest-Nyugati, from the train station the accommodation is 2 minutes walk. We are a kid, dog, cat friendly place. We are in the old town of Nagymaros, within 300 meters you can reach a grocery store, restaurants, confectioneries, self-sufficiency can be comfortably solved. The 1000 Mbit/s fast internet is suitable even for video conferencing, with 120+ channel cable TV you will not get bored on autumn / winter evenings. The space The house is located in the center of Nagymaros, in which there are two apartments with terraces, one on the ground floor and one on the first floor. Both apartments have flat-screen TVs with over 100 channels and Wi-Fi broadband internet. We will help you relax with detailed information on the accommodation unit by listing the restaurants/shops/activities in the area. The apartments have Hungarian/English/German books and maps of the surrounding hiking trails. There are many potted flowers in the house, in case of a longer stay we are grateful for your contribution to their care (watering). The house is high on the hill, with an extremely varied and fascinating view from all points towards the Visegrád Castle, the Nagymaros Church, the Visegrad Church and the Danube. In the evening lights, the view of the three listed buildings is very beautiful. In the upper part of the plot there is the observation terrace, which is about 70 m2, with garden furniture and a fire pit. We provide kettle, grill, skewers, barbecue, firewood (one basket, approx. 10 kg) free of charge once upon request. It is also possible to simply set fire without baking/cooking. The kitchen is well equipped: ceramic electric stove with 4 hobs, oven, dishwasher, microwave, water heater, coffee maker. There is salt, sugar, cooking oil, basic spices. Guest access Two pcs. Free use of kayaks (2 persons + 1 person). Free use of bicycles, currently we have 4 bicycles, there is a photo of them. Please indicate the need for these (kayak, bicycle) by 6 p.m. the day before. Other things to note 1., If you arrive after 4 p.m., please check with me and give me the exact time of arrival. 2., If you arrive by car, approach Szív utca ( Street) from the direction of Édeske Cukrászda (Sweetke Confectionery) (Dózsa György út). At the other end of the street there is a sharp turn that is difficult to see, which unfortunately is not detected by map software. 3., If you arrive by train, get off at Nagymaros-Visegrád station and leave the railway platform in the direction of the church. It is misleading that there is another station in the city called Nagymaros, so that you do not get off there. 4., We live in the house next door, our phone numbers are written on a large signboard, call or ring the bell when you arrive.
