Wonderfully light and airy, the ground floor is flooded with natural light from the triple aspect windows. Underfloor heating adds extra warmth during chillier months, making you feel right at home. The contemporary style kitchen features a convenient breakfast bar, with a charming dining area for four situated just beyond. Comfortable sofas in the sitting area are appointed to enjoy the benefits of ambient light and warmth from the wood burning stove, making it a lovely spot to hunker down to watch a film on the Smart television. On sunny days, floor to ceiling bi-fold doors open up onto the patio and garden to welcome the outside in, allowing the fresh Norfolk air to drift through. Upstairs on the first floor, two inviting bedrooms are presented. The en-suite master bedroom hosts a double bed, with a king size zip and link bed (that can be made into twin beds on request) offered by bedroom two. A shower room is also located on this floor. The outside space at Driftwood Cottage has been perfectly designed for making the most of al fresco dining and barbecuing. The rear garden is fully enclosed with outdoor dining furniture presented on the patio. The raised lawn is perfect for sharing a picnic made from the areas delicious local produce. Parking is at the front and is shared with the adjoining Blossom Cottage. The Sailing Club at Brancaster Staithe is approximately one mile away, and the bustling Georgian village of Burnham Market, offering fabulous shopping and eateries, is approximately four miles away. Brancaster Stores and Post Office houses a brilliant deli and coffee shop, as well as stocking plenty of every day goods. Brancaster Village Hall hosts Bar 71 where good times, drinks, friends and fun are served. It is the social heart of Brancaster village offering a licenced, family friendly bar with the cheapest drinks along the coast, and a calendar of monthly events including live music, discos, quiz nights, bingo, skittles and poker tournaments. Adjacent is five acres of playing fields, including two full size goals, a children's playground along with equipment designed to help coordination and balance, and a family area with picnic tables. Guest access Ground Floor: A side entrance door leads in to the open-plan living area, a wonderful triple aspect space with modern sash windows to the front, side and bi-fold doors to the rear Kitchen/dining area There is a modern stylish kitchen with stainless steel sink, a breakfast bar with two stools and fridge/freezer (four drawer) with water dispenser. There is halogen hob with matching oven and extractor over and microwave. The kitchen leads into the dining area with table and four rattan chairs and is open to the sitting room with stairs leading off to the first floor bedrooms and shower room. Sitting room Fabulous seating area with contemporary corner sofa and two seater sofa, cosy wood burning stove and wall mounted Smart television. Bi-fold doors lead onto the rear patio and garden. The wood burning stove is quite small therefore instant fire logs should only be used. These will be available for use on arrival. Additional logs can be purchased locally. Cloakroom With wash basin and WC. Washing machine is stored in the cupboard under the stairs. First Floor: Master bedroom With a double bed and window overlooking the front of the property. En-suite shower room Walk-in mains shower, with wash basin, WC and heated towel rail. Shower room Corner shower cubicle with electric shower, wash basin, WC and heated towel rail. Bedroom two With a king size 'zip and link' bed which can be made up either as a king-size or as two 2ft 6' small single beds. (Please state preferred option when booking). Outside: The rear garden is fully enclosed and has a patio with seating area directly off the living area with table and four chairs, ideal for al fresco dining, and a large garden umbrella. Three steps lead up to the raised area where there is also a rotary washing line and charcoal barbecue. There is parking for two cars at the front of the Cottage on the shingled driveway. Driftwood Cottage adjoins Blossom Cottage, also available for bookings.
