Farm shop on site The space The farm offers breathtaking views for miles across the once Sherwood Forest and organic farm land of the historical Estate and its animals and wildlife. Family friendly and welcoming home experience. The farm is a real working organic mixed livestock and arable farm. The farmhouse annex has been created from the main farmhouse and has some modern features as well as old features. Heated by a sustainable biomass boiler, using timber from farm woodlands. It is only a 10 minute drive from East Midlands airport and central to many attractions nearby. There is lots to do and see in the midlands, while also enjoying the peace and calm of the countryside whilst staying at the annexes. The annex has a large living room with traditional features and a modern kitchen that includes all amenities and has a seating area for four. The annex includes its own staircase and has a large bedroom with a king size bed and another bedroom with 2 single beds, also a shower room with a large shower. The property has its own outdoor seating area. This area is unfenced. You are welcome to walk the gardens. A travel cot and highchair can be provided if needed. Please note: As an annex to the main farmhouse there is potential for noise as a working farm and family home. There is an unfenced pond in the garden. Please note: the staircase is a unique style, please take care navigating. Guest access Open large field where you can walk your dog loose available to Airbnb guests. We do not have an EV charger but if you would like to charge your vehicle on a plug with your own equipment, I do ask a small fee with the rising energy costs.
