Description
Spectacular renovation of 1850's rowhouse. Very roomy with 3000 square feet, great outdoor space. Perfect location, 50 meters from Ft Greene Park and a great restaurant district, close to all subways. High end, designer touches throughout. Considered a "gem" of the neighborhood - featured twice on the famous Fort Greene House Tour! The space The house is a three story rowhouse built in 1852 (the basement level is a separate apartment, with a separate entrance). We just completed a three year long meticulous renovation, and it came out beautifully! Our family lives in the house full-time, but we put it up on Airbnb when we leave for extended periods of time. The house is very roomy, at 3000 square feet. It has three spacious bedrooms, including a kids room with bunk beds, loads of common space, and tons of closets. The kitchen is fully stocked, with top of the line appliances, and we have a brand new washer and dryer in the laundry closet. Since it is our home, it does feel "lived in". However, we live a very "uncluttered" life, so the space is very tidy and sparse every day - and we further de-clutter and clean out closets in advanced of guest visits. The location can't be beat - Fort Greene is our favorite neighborhood in Brooklyn, and the house is literally in the center, 50 meters from the famous and beautiful Fort Greene Park. Guest access You have a full run of the top three floors of the rowhouse (we rent the apartment downstairs separately), as well as the back deck and back yard. We seal off a couple of closets when we are gone for our personal materials, but you will still have tons of closet space. Other things to note There is an apartment downstairs which we also rent out. Please be courteous and do not make too much noise when on the first floor, especially at night.
