Minton-A short walk to shops and has WiFi

This room, Minton, with its own private bathroom, is within walking distance from the downtown shopping district where you'll find retail and restaurants. There is a shared living, dining room and study, to relax with a book, play a game with your companion or meet some of the other guests from the four other rooms. Centrally located, Freeport is only 1/2 hour from Portland, 2 hours from Boston, and 1 hour and 15 minutes from Camden. West of Freeport is also beautiful, if you want to explore lakes and mountains. If this isn’t the room for you or you have more than two people in your party, please check out the other rooms in my home: Wedgwood, Limoges, Haviland and Aynsley. Guest access Shared living room, dining room and study. Plenty of parking. Side walk all the way to shops. Public library behind the house, through walking path. The Breeze Metro stop is within walking distance and can take you to Portland, Yarmouth and Brunswick. The Downeaster, also within walking distance, can take you to Boston and beyond. During your stay I live on the premises, so I'm always available when I have guests. Feel free to ask me questions and be ready for some of mine! But, don't worry, if you want to keep to yourself, I can be like a ghost; you'll only see glimpses of me. Other things to note Hometown of LLBean, all summer and Fall, the company runs hourly, daily and weekly excursions like kayaking, fishing and other outdoor trips. No need to drive. They are walking distance from the house, and they bus you to their facilities. Bradbury Mountain is a short drive if your looking to have a nice hike. Of course plenty of shops to keep you busy, and tons and tons of lobster to eat! For a restful evening or a rainy day,just downtown we have the Nordica Movie theater.
