This delightful 2 bedroom riverside cottage with private patio garden is located in the heart of the lovely historic market town of Wetherby. You'll be stunned with the views, especially from the main bedroom where you can wake to the incredible sight of the beautiful River Wharf! With bedrooms that will be made up to suit your requirements with twins or king size beds and a fully equipped kitchen, we welcome you to relax by the river, enjoying your home from home! The space This lovely cottage comes fully equipped with everything you'll need for a quiet and comfortable stay, and it provides the perfect base from which to explore the local area. Connect to our high speed wifi to keep up with your social media, emails or work schedule. You can also enjoy Now TV with the Entertainment Package from the comfort of the living room. We have 2 double bedrooms which can both be made up to suit your requirements either with king size beds or twin beds. Please note the 2nd bedroom is a small double room and this is at the front of the house closest the road. The living room also has a sofa bed meaning our cottage sleeps a maximum of 6 people (although being a 2 bedroom cottage, it ideally fits 2-3 people). Bedroom 1 is a large double room measuring 3.70m x 4.00m, Bedroom 2 is a small double room measuring 2.45m x 2.45m. All bedding and towels will be provided for use during your stay. A contemporary new bathroom was installed at the end of January 2022. Our kitchen is equipped with cooker, gas hob, fridge-freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle and Nespresso coffee maker. We also have crockery, pans, and cutlery for your convenience. To the rear of the property we have a lovely flagged patio area with outdoor furniture for you to sit out and enjoy with a glass of wine or two in the evening. The town centre is 2-3 minutes walk where you can discover a wide range of independent retailers, coffee shops, restaurants, pubs and bars, bakeries, supermarkets, and more. Wetherby is situated in a very convenient location just off the M1 which makes for a very easy commute North or South. Also close by is the thriving city of Leeds, the superb spa town of Harrogate and the historic city of York. Wetherby racecourse is also very close by as are a number of renowned local wedding venues such as Rudding Park, Woodhall, and Stockeld Park to name just a few. Also within a short drive are the historic houses and stunning grounds of Harewood House, and Castle Howard which both make for a fantastic day out. Beautiful Yorkshire countryside surrounds Wetherby with excellent walking, golf, fishing, and cycling all very close by.
