Semi rural 2 bedroom Gite, sleeps 4.1 double bedroom and 2 single beds in the second both having wardrobe space, small separate toilet and a double shower room. Fully fitted kitchen and dining area. Cozy living room with double sofa bed,log burner, tv/sky box, outside patio area with barbecue and garden leading to the heated 10 x 5 metre fenced pool for guests only. The gite is detached from the main house and the garden is split to give privacy outside and around the pool to guests. JONZAC Less than a ten minute drive. This is the nearest town where all your amenities are. Good supermarkets, lots of shops, bars and restaurants. Two theatres and a cinema. Swimming pool complex fed by the thermal springs and a treatment centre. Covered market for fresh produce locally supplied accompanied by lots of stalls all around the square. The medieval town of Pons is only 25 mins away and host some good events through the summer. The battle re-enactment with jousting is a spectacular day out. Montendre is 15 mins in the other direction and has a large street market every Thursday. Twin lakes is situated here and is great for beginners and keen anglers plus a beautiful place to have lunch or supper. LOCALITY In a quiet village that has Restaurant/Bar. Lake for fishing and picnics, a walkable 24/7 Supermarket open from August 2024. Jonzac is 6km renown for its hot water springs. The coast is 40 mins away with sandy beaches.
