We fell in love with the Cabo de Gata atmosphere long time ago. We spent many a holiday and finally bought a run down 'cortijo'. With the help of an architect friend we turned it into a unique family holiday home with a private pool, and unspoilt views of the natural park. It's an ideal place to spend a relaxed holiday with family, kids and friends. Guests tell us it's the best place they have rented in years. A great starting point to explore the best beaches in Europe. The space We ourselves have been coming to the Cabo de Gata area since we were in university. We have rented many houses and put all of our experience into creating our own unique place. We hope you will enjoy it as much as we always do. We use the house as a couple ourselves, but with 4 bedrooms, 8 beds, a baby bed, and 3 bathrooms, it has room for two families. Guest access Cortijo de Romualda has a private pool, a large private patio, unspoilt views, 4000 m2 of land, nice elderly Spanish neighbours, modern kitchen with dishwasher etc, WiFi, toys, books, DVD's, and as far as we can tell, everything you may need to enjoy a relaxed holiday. You only have to bring your personal stuff and a beach blanket. Other things to note Sorry to be strict, but over the years we have learned it's better to be clear: - Never Ever leave kids unattended near the pool -We do not charge an extra cleaning fee, but instead ask you to use the house with respect. Clean up before you leave and take the garbage. - Respect nature and the creatures that live in the garden and around the house & be nice to our neighbours. -Our children have allergies, so it is a strictly no smoking house, and we don't allow pets (how nice and well trained they may be) - If you rent our house for a number of guests, that's it. Looking for a place to have a celebration, a family reunion, or a party, rent another house. Ours is a place to chill out and relax. -Don't waste the water. The house is not on the communal water system.
