Located on the ridge of Kythnos island, a tasteful and fully equipped Cycladic studio offers the visitor the chance to rest mentally and physically while ensuring all the conditions for safe accommodation imposed by the new measures for the CoVid-19 (distance from other habitable private areas, meticulous cleaning, absence of proximity with other guests, private parking spot). The space On the surrounding terraces of the studio, during the day, you can enjoy the 360° panoramic view to the sea, the neighbouring Cycladic islands, the sun, the Aegean breeze and the evening coolness. Its terrace will offer you the most beautiful sunrise early in the morning, while in the afternoon you can enjoy the crimson sunset dipping in the east coast of the Peloponnese. Late at night, while having a drink and looking up, escape from the screen of your cell phone to the big screen of the starry sky. There, the galaxy will help you surf the depths of the universe! At only 3 km from the studio, you can find two of the five best beaches in Kythnos; Gaidouromandra and Simousi, with crystal clear waters and enough space to spread out. Due to the peculiarity of the ferry’s itineraries and the late afternoon arrival on the island, if you wish, a meal can be offered after arranging it with us. GENERAL: The studio is built according to the traditional Cycladic architecture, with a large terrace around it and it is surrounded by lush vegetation in contrast to the dry landscape of the island. The 30sqm rooftop can be used for yoga or other exercise having the infinite horizon all around as a background. There are two sunbeds for those who enjoy sunbathing. Also, on moonless nights the galaxy is crystal clear and ideal for stargazing. BED: Inside, the most important element is the bed, which features an American-made Sealy mattress by Elite Strom, so that your good sleep is part of the whole experience. EXTRA BEDS: The sofa bed can accommodate one extra person or a child. A crib is available upon request. Both the bed and the sofa face a 43" LG TV. KITCHEN: It has a fully equipped kitchen with all the necessities for cooking (fridge, oven, stove, blender, toaster, boiler, Dolce Gusto coffee maker, pots and pans, plates, glasses, cups, cutlery etc). For your first day, Mrs Aggeliki prepares a basket full of treats for your breakfast. WARDROBE: It also has a large wardrobe behind sliding mirrors where you can store and hang all your things. VENTILATION: Due to its bioclimatic architectural design, you will enjoy the Aegean breezes simply by opening the north and south windows. Also, an air-conditioning unit is available. For those who want to come during the winter, there is a fireplace along with electrical radiator. Guest access The studio, its surrounding terraces and its rooftop. Other things to note Kythnos is a relatively small Cycladic island and the studio is located at its southern part: - 11 km from the port of Merichas - 7 km from the village of Dryopida - 12 km from Chora - 8 km from Panagia Kanala - 3km from Gaidouromantra and Simousi beaches - 5km from Agios Dimitrios beach (with traditional taverns) - 6km from Flampouria beach (with traditional taverns and the breathtaking temple of Panagia Flampouriani) For all the necessary supplies, the nearest supermarket is located 4km away.
