Fairfield Loft, Ashover - Village hideaway for two

Fairfield Loft is in the heart of the lovely village of Ashover with the beautiful Derbyshire Dales and Peak District National Park right on the doorstep. Tucked away behind Stamp, our coffee shop and village post office, the space was renovated in 2021 with comfort and quality in mind. There's lots to see and do in the area but if you simply want to relax then spend the days exploring the many beautiful local walks and maybe wind down in one of the friendly local pubs. The space The accommodation is an open-plan quirky mix of old and new with a well equipped little kitchen, a fridge/ice box, combination oven/microwave and a two ring ceramic hob. We provide tea, coffee, milk and a few other essentials to get you started. When it comes to relaxing, there's a comfy sofa, a 43" 4K Ultra HD TV and complimentary Wi-Fi. If you want to switch off from the outside world then there's a selection of games and books you can curl up with instead. The king size bed has hypo-allergenic pillows, a luxurious deep topper and quality linens for a relaxing night’s sleep. The bathroom is light and bright and has an easy access roomy quadrant shower with shampoo, conditioner and body wash provided. Tucked away on the first floor behind the village Post Office and Stamp Coffee Shop, the accommodation is accessed via a shared courtyard with outdoor seating where wrought iron spiral stairs lead up to the property. The external entrance is shared with two other properties but your accommodation is self-contained and private. There is free on-street parking and you won’t have far to go for really good coffee and cake at Stamp. You can also get a brilliant discounted breakfast Monday - Saturday at Stamp and Ashover Farm Shop is a few yards away stocking great quality produce. Guest access Outdoors, at the foot of the spiral stairs, are two chairs and a table which guests can use. Other things to note Stamp is open between 5-9pm on Friday evenings for an early bar, serving wine, spirits and bottles beers. There are also monthly bistro evenings on Saturdays, again finishing by approximately 9.30pm. Please note that you may hear some activity as the kitchen of Stamp is below part of The Loft.
