Salty Soul is a small beach house, built in the 1940s, located on “Praia da Fonte da Telha.” A small fishing village, located at the southern end of Costa da Caparica. Its beach is characterized by the beautiful landscape of white sand, dunes rich in vegetation and an imposing cliff. The village, which is derived from its natural wealth, is located in a protected landscape area. The space Salty Soul is a small beach house, built in the 1940s, where my paternal grandparents lived. Originally from this small fishing village, Fonte da Telha, they were born, raised and had their children here, including my father. A traditional family of fishermen, who made their living from the sea, and who drew the courage and strength from the sea for the hard and uncertain life of those who lived from fishing. It was from my grandparents that I was inspired to name this house Salty Soul, and this is the brief story of the little beach house…!
