The garden room is a beautiful rustic newly built timber framed studio apartment surrounded by fields with rural views of the shropshire hills and fields from the balcony. It is a relaxing base to explore Shropshire by foot, bike, car or bus. The space This is a timber oak framed oak building newly built with exposed beams and chunks of timber. It has a solid oak floor. it is situated on the first floor accessed via external steps it is in a roof space and so on the sides there is restricted head room Inside it is open plan with a kitchen, living, dining and sleeping areas all as one. The bathroom within the property is separated via an internal door from the rest of the studio it has a superking bed with medium to firm sprung mattress. there is a tv and hifi system and free wifi below the property, accessed via the external steps on the lower floor is a utility room with washing machine and dryer, there is also a lockable shower room and the whole utility can be locked to provide secure storage for a couple of bicycles. This area is used by the hosts to wash linen and clothing and store items for other holiday lets, it is sometimes chaotic! it is not used by other guests. The laundry will collect and deliver sheets to this utility area on a monday and thursday unless you specify that you do not wish this. There is a parking space next to the property in the gravelled driveway. You can walk in the field below if there are no stock grazing. The field below is sometimes used by the family next door to play football in. One small breed dog is allowed to stay, there is not enough space for multiple dogs or large breeds. We charge £25 cash for 1 dog , which we give to a dog charity, the dog must not be allowed on the bed, sofa or rugs, must not be left alone in the property and ALL poos need to be removed at all times (not just selected ones) as the hosts use the field for playing football and also have their own dog. Being a timer framed building alas smoking is not allowed. Guest access you will be able to access the whole studio, balcony and utility, the parking area and the field in front (if not full of cows!) Other things to note our cat dora loves holiday makers and will try to schmooze you it is accessed via a flight of steps which can become a bit slippery when it has been raining the platform on which the bed is situated is accessed via a 305mm step, this may be difficult for people with disabilities there is very restricted head height throughout the property No smoking strictly. please be aware that this is a very rural property on farmland and surrounded by fields and nature, often mother nature is present in and around the property this could include flies, bees, wasps, nesting birds, field mice and spiders, we do not use chemicals to remove these so please bear this in mind if you do choose to book as we do not refund for acts of mother nature!! also the property is surrounded by farmed fields, which are not farmed by ourselves, farmers do sometimes work early , late and at weekends, occasional(unpredictable) times of the year they fertilise their fields which can be smelly and could wake you up. this is a 3 star property, not a five star hotel, there might be imperfections, which we feel are normal features of rural living but may be things you are not used to at home.
