Welcome to Herbert Cottage by Yorkshire Escapes - a beautifully decorated Grade II listed cottage with two double bedrooms and bathrooms ensuite. Originally part of the former stable block to Westow Hall in Westow which is located 6 miles from Malton, 15 miles from York and 27 miles from the Yorshire Coast. The Cottage is decorated to a high standard and downstairs has a Sitting Room, Entrance Hall, Dining Hall and Kitchen with a large garden. The space From the large Entrance Hall you enter the light and cosy Sitting Room with open fireplace surrounded by a club fender, sofa, armchairs, desk and smart tv.   The Dining Hall leads off the Entrance Hall and has a circular dining table and chairs, with the staircase leading up to the first floor.  Access to the beautiful large garden at the front of the house is through a large Oak door from the Dining Hall. The Kitchen leads off the Dining Hall and has a Belling electric oven, fridge freezer, microwave, coffee machine and two warming drawers and kitchen table. There is an arch leading to the Utility room with washing machine and side door leading out to the back of the cottage. The Stairs in the Dining Hall lead up to a large landing on the first floor leading to the bedrooms. The Master Bedroom has a king sized bed, cupboards, dressing table and stool and pretty views over the front garden. The Master Bedroom has a large Bathroom ensuite.  Bedroom 2 is a charming twin bedroom with ensuite Shower room, cupboards and Dressing table. There is private parking at the back of the cottage. Westow Village is in the heart of the Ryedale countryside close to Kirkham Priory.  The cottage is within walking distance of The Blacksmith's Arms Pub in the village and The Stone Trough Inn at Kirkham Abbey is 2 minutes drive away. Local Attractions:  Castle Howard 3.8 miles, The Yorkshire Arboretum 4.1 miles, Eden Camp 5.8 miles, Kirkham Abbey is 2 miles away. Guest access There is private parking at the cottage. Other things to note We will send you our information pack and details to the key box or the housekeeper will meet you or drop in to check you are happy and found everything you need. There is an alarm at the house that must be put on when guests are out. Please no glitter, confetti, water balloons, sticking on windows or doors.
