Visit Georgetown from my Suite w/Parking+SmallDogs

Recently renovated two-room Garden Suite for you: Two blocks from Georgetown Hospital and Gtown University making it very convenient for short-term residencies, families visiting, & business travelers. The suite private entrance opens onto the back garden at our rowhouse in Burleith, a lovely and tranquil neighborhood. It is 3.5 blocks from Safeway, Starbucks, shops, restaurants; a 10-minute walk to M Street; 15-minute to Dupont; and a short cab ride to downtown. Small Pets Welcomed! The space The garden suite has been recently renovated to make your stay comfortable, and have you come back! It is nested in historic Burleith, a friendly and safe neighborhood, poised for convenience and access to all areas of interest within Washington, DC. An easy five-minute stroll to Georgetown, a fifteen-minute walk to Dupont, and with several busses just blocks from the door that take you downtown--to the White House and business areas. Plus, Uber or Lyft always nearby, you can be downtown in less than ten minutes. The suite is large enough for an extended stay. The bedroom is cozy, spacious, and peaceful. It has a queen-size bed, nightstands, a sizable closet, and dresser for your use, and a Philips natural light wake up alarm clock. The sitting room looks out on the garden and has a comfy couch, high dining table with chairs, mini-fridge, Nespresso machine, and kettle. While ideal for two people, the space can accommodate three as there is a single/foldable bed (storaged in the closet) in case you need it. There is a full bathroom with a stand-up shower with good water pressure. Fresh towels and bed linens are provided. Albeit the Suite is fresh in summer and cozy in the winter—thanks to concrete walls! There is an A/C window unit and a portable tower unit to make it comfortable on hot summer days, and heating (with your own thermostat in the bedroom) for the cool winter nights. The suite is self-contained, and you have it to yourself. Being it a renovated basement you will have a modern, clean, and neat space. ah! Please Note that if you are 6.5 or taller you may find the ceiling a bit low for you. There is a washer and dryer in an adjoining closet inside the Suite. We use it about once a week with prior notice to guests. We have a beautiful puppy--a one-year old Bernedoodle that is very cute. He is hypoallergenic but he is also not allowed downstairs. Because of this new member of our family, we have come to appreciate the need to travel with our pets--so, we will welcome well trained, small dogs! Please kindly ensure your pet goes potty outside of our home (not inside the suite, nor in our garden because as you will see, it is full of roses and plants). Please bring your pet's favorite bed and toys, and please, don't let them alone in the suite, unless it is for a very short time, they are very well trained, and in their own secured home. This is for their own safety as much as to avoid any potential damages. Please serve yourself to water, coffee (Nespresso!), and tea upon your arrival. Take your coat off... stay for a while, make yourself at home! We aim to make your stay a comfortable one and help you enjoy your time in DC. Guest access Garden suite is only for your use and it is composed of your own efficient living room facing the garden, bedroom, and full bathroom. The washer and dryer for the whole house are in a closed compartment inside the unit and generally only used once per week, with previous notice to our Guest. The connecting door between the upstairs house and the Garden Suite is locked for safety and privacy. This helps making the Suite self-contained! Other things to note We recently got a puppy (8-months now) so we welcome you and your small, house-trained pets! Please kindly ensure your pet goes potty outside the property (not inside, nor in our garden). It is a lovely and quiet area within walking distance to some of the best restaurants and shopping in town, and just a short cab ride to the trendy 14th Street and its new restaurants and bars.
