An antique home with fireplace, stone patio, fire pit, BBQ grill and outdoor table and furniture. A 5 min drive to the beach, gateway to North Fork vineyards, outdoor venues, farm stands and a 45 minute drive to Southampton. Wading River is a quaint historic town and home to the infamous LaPlage restaurant across from the Wading River beach. Built in 1810, the 2500 square foot home has been modernized but retains unique character and charm like exposed beams, wide plank wood flooring, a wood burning fireplace and a modern farmhouse kitchen provide. The master bedroom has a queen bed and an ensuite bathroom with a skylight that floods the bathroom with natural light. The house is whole house very high-speed WiFi enabled with s 50 inch smart tv's and access to Netflx, HBO, Hulu, Amazon Prime. There is an 8 person hot tub that is for adult use only. There is a full size washer and dryer. I am unable to host guests with service animals due to severe allergies and asthma. Guests will have access to the entire house except the 2 other guest bedrooms and bathrooms (2 people share this home), basement and attic which are locked. Kitchen is fully stocked with staples, pots and pans, vitamix, kitchenaid mixer, instant pot, dishes, wine and cocktail glasses, flatware etc. Fresh linens, towels, toiletries are provided. Gas BBQ grill, Weber charcoal grill,, firepit, outdoor furniture an 8 person hot tub and a large outdoor dining table. there are two other guests that stay at the house that work full time and often travel on weekends that are quiet and respectful of each other's privacy. Wading River is a quaint historic town nestled at the beginning of the North Fork of eastern Long Island. Wading River has it's own beach on the Long Island Sound and is home to the infamous La Plage restaurant - a favorite east end destination spot located at the beach. The home is located 1 mile from the Wading River Beach. The North Fork of Long Island is known for it's wooded terrain, farms, restaurants and quaint towns that will be experienced as you take a country drive through wine vineyards or to some of the best beaches in the Hamptons. The home is only 1.5 hours from NYC and is tastefully decorated with wide wood plank floors throughout. You can take Hampton Jitney to Calverton which is a 20 minute taxi tide away. Ronkonkoma train station is 30 minutes from the house (without traffic). Car is recommended. Parking is provided for 1 car. There is a guidebook listed here on the site. I suggest checking out the distillery in Baiting Hollow which is 10 minutes away...If you want to go to La Plage restaurant located in Wading River across from the beach, I suggest making reservations. They do have a small bar outside where you can watch the sunset. Sunsets at the Wading River Beach are AMAZING....
