Authentic & Comfortably Cosy; The Nurse's Cottage

The Nurse's Cottage is a cosy, 2 bedroom cottage situated in the quiet village of Lowick in North Northumberland. The space A spacious family living with a wood-burning stove and dining space, kitchen and bathroom (updated July 2025) occupy the ground floor. Going up the stairs in the living room, you will find 2 bedrooms on the first floor, only accessible by stairs. There is off-road parking to the front and a paved, private garden to the rear of the cottage, with seating facilities. The garden is not fully enclosed. Guest access Our guests have exclusive access to the whole property. Other things to note The sofa bed is in the living room and will suit either two smaller persons or one big adult. (size is 1.70 m x 1.15 m) Please let us know beforehand if you like to make use of the sofa bed so we can provide the extra bedding needed. (Chargeable at £20 per stay) For small children is a travel cot and a high chair available on request. Fire wood is not provided as standard, but can be requested and provided against an extra charge. There are no toilet facilities upstairs. Small pets are allowed, but not upstairs or on the furniture and sofas.
