Description
The Stables is a converted annex has one allocated parking space, (There is room for 2nd car close by) Stables has a 12 foot square patio area, to the rear. The Stables has a double bedroom with en-suite shower room. In addition there is a sofa bed in the lounge area which is suitable for 2 young children or one adult . We welcome up to two medium or small dogs. With larger dogs please ask. For parents with babies, we provide a high chair but there is not really sufficient space for a cot. The space The well equipped kitchen is located within the lounge area, It is a large bright and airy space, it has a built in dishwasher, oven, hob, microwave and a tall fridge freezer. We have done our best to ensure that all utensils are included and we would welcome advice on any additions we could make to improve the guest experience. There is also Freeview, and unlimited Wi Fi included. Guest access The Stables is a self contained annexe and it has a stable door to the front of the property, into the lounge/kitchen area with the bedroom and en-suite bathroom in a separate area. There is private patio area off the bedroom through the rear stable door and it has a Bistro table and 4 chairs and BBQ available. There are also an additional pair of larger more comfortable outdoor chairs to allow you to relax and read a book or enjoy the sunshine (if you are lucky enough) To gain easy access to the property on arrival, we have provided a key safe with the key inside, the key code will be provided to you before your arrival. We have provided one dedicated parking space for the Stables but there is parking available for a second car if required, nearby. We now have an EV charge point. It requires an activation card. We charge £40 for 3 days of use or £60 for 7 days. for longer period please ask. This is payable separate from the property rental. Other things to note There is a Pub called The Round o' grass only 10 minutes walk from the property and the pub does good food on week days and an excellent Sunday roast which is very popular and I recommend pre booking the Sunday roast. Our "Jewel in the crown" is the National Trust Public house called The Fleece inn which is only a 30 minute walk from the Stables, but well worth the visit. It was voted best UK pub 2019 by Telegraph newspaper
