The space This stunning family friendly property is located In the peaceful village of Parnica, nestled in the foothills of the Mala Fatra National Park. Large garden and summer house make this an ideal place to escape from the modern world. This is a solid wooden cottage that has been fully redeveloped and modernised. The property is gated with a private driveway and enclosed parking space. Ground floor - A large fireplace in the living room is the centrepiece of living/dining area, adding cosy feeling and lighting up the room in the long winter evenings. Modern kitchen is equipped with all the utensils you might need during your stay (I love to cook so the kitchen is extremely well equipped). Sofa-Grey corner piece sofa that transforms into a comfortable small double bed. LCD TV screen attached to the wall, satellite receiver, stereo. Dining table that sits 8 people, high chair. Bespoke staircase leading up stairs. Under the stairs are games and toys. We now have child stair gates at the bottom of the stairs and at the top. First floor - Two bedrooms Master bedroom- Kingsize bed with memory foam mattress. Small chest of drawers. View of the Mala (lower) Fatra mountain range. Second bedroom is a huge room with 4 single beds, each bed has a small chest of drawers, a large wardrobe, 2 sky lights, Flat screen TV with Xbox & games, table and 4 easy chairs. Door leading onto sun terrace. Bathroom with toilet, shower and skylight. Wi-Fi connection is available free of charge throughout the property as well as satellite TV. There is also a separate room with washing machine and clothes dryer. The garden is large enough for ballgames in the summer/spring months and has recently had a BBQ house added so that al fresco dining can be enjoyed in luxury. A car is recommended and there is a private parking for 1 car on site. A family from the village will greet you and show you around the guest house. They also live 5 minutes away from the property and will be on hand if you need anything. 5 minute walk to the Mala Fatra mountain range where there is beautiful wild life with stunning flora and fauna. Or 5 minute drive to the ski resort. (URL HIDDEN) Friendly village with local pub and restaurant. 20 minute drive to Bessanova where there are thermal therapeutic volcanic water, which is known for its healing properties. Several indoor and outdoor pools with slides and waves for the children. Around 20 minute drive is the famous premier water parks in Slovakia- Tatralandia !! (URL HIDDEN) A short car journey away is also the famous Orava Castle- (URL HIDDEN) Its best to hire a car from Bratislava airport, the journey takes approximately 3 hours. Or you can get the train from Bratislava which is really relaxing and has amazing views through the mountains to the house. 5 minute walk to the lower Tantra National park.
