Hallyard (hall yard) House is in the quiet rural village of Over Haddon, Bakewell, in the middle of the Peak District. Voted the third best UK staycation village, it sits above the Lathkill Dale, the Peak Park's most pristine walking spot. The house is ideal for families or business travellers and is a perfect romantic hideaway. Gorgeous walks and stunning scenery greet you at the garden gate, making it a beautiful spot all year round. The space It's a little haven, well appointed and stunningly decorated... modern boutique luxury in the heart of rural England. Open plan downstairs with banquet dining table and large , plush sofas. Upstairs are four bedrooms and two bathrooms with four king beds (one has a king and a single daybed). All lovely comfy beds. Our landscaped cottage garden welcomes you to a large walled and gated spot for long summer days, while our wood burning stove keeps you warm on those cosy cold nights in. All mod cons and quality finishes. New SKY GLASS TV with Netflix, Discovery +, Disney + and more. There’s also a piano. Guest access The entire home is available for guests, with each room equipped for a restful retreat. Outside is a large patio, South facing enclosed garden, separate driveway, walks aplenty, rolling views, a play park easily accessible for the kids should you need... Close to Chatsworth, Haddon Hall, and plenty to child friendly options. Other things to note There isn't provision for cots, but plenty of room to bring your own. Some children's plastic utensils and cutlery are provided. The house is shoe free and smoke-free. Car charging is available on request at a cost of £20 per weekend stay ( sorry we used to include this but electricity prices have made this impossible). It is a 13amp socket not a fast charger. Suitable for drip charging. There is a garage for bike storage if needed ( by request).
