THE STABLES, self catering cottage

The converted stables is set in the grounds of an 18th century Georgian Hunting Lodge. Rock Cottage Country House is on The Wild Atlantic Route and is just ten minutes from Schull, Goleen & Durrus. Schull is a coastal village with numerous boutiques, pubs and restaurants, art galleries, library and good food shops plus a weekly market on Sun We are well situated for The Mizen Head, The Sheep's Head and The Beara Peninsula. Close by we have beautiful beaches including one of Ireland's finest beaches, Barley cove. Outside guests can roam around the 17 acres of grounds, hillside and visit the animals. From the top of the hill there is a bench where guest can sit and enjoy the 360 degree view over the hills and Mount Gabriel. There is also a Chalet available, the perfect glamping holiday. We are dog friendly and have two golden retrievers who love other dogs.
