Barn in Hertfordshire

Nestled in open countryside next to our vineyard on the outskirts of Bishop's Stortford, an ideal base to explore East Herts & North Essex or visit London & Cambridge. The Cowshed is a recently converted barn sleeping 5, complete with fully equipped kitchen, dining area and comfy seating around a woodburner. Egyptian cotton linen and black out blinds in all bedrooms. Outdoors enjoy the wood burning hot tub, feed the chickens, take a stroll round our lake or discover the zip wire in the wood! The space If the chickens are happy, fresh eggs are available from the kitchen garden located at the end of the 2 acre orchard that backs onto the property. Nestled in the woods you'll discover the zip wire and play area with plenty of trees for den building! Guest access Entire space. There are 3 bedrooms, 1 single bedroom downstairs, along with a twin room (2 single beds) and master room with king-size bed upstairs. Other things to note We have a minuimum 4 night stay during the week, with a check-in on Monday. Weekend check-in is on Friday with a minimum 3 night stay. Please note that the hot tub is a wood burning hot tub it is chemical free and filled with fresh water each use. You will need to light the fire and tend to it (adding logs regularly) it will take upwards of 3.5 hours to get hot. We provide logs for your stay (with a fair usage policy), instructions and will be on hand to offer guidance. The hot tub will comfortably fit 5 adults. The property is strictly no smoking this means in the garden and hot tub too.
