Garden for BBQ, alfresco dining and lawn for games. Walks/cycling from front door, village pub and tearoom. The space Close to many attractions in the DoveDale and Manifold Valleys and Peak District such as Carsington Water, Bakewell, The Stepping Stones, Ilam, Thors Cave and Wetton Mill (within walking distance), The Roaches, Luds Church so lots to offer walkers, climbers and cyclists. Family attractions of Alton Towers, Gullivers Kingdom and Chatsworth also close by. Guest access You'll have the whole house and, depending on bookings, we can offer flexibility regarding check out times - especially for weekend bookings where the 11am departure usually doesn't apply. Other things to note If you want to plan to meet up with others during your stay there are BnB's and other holiday cottages for hire in the village - along with the village hall which could cater for larger functions / parties. The house is not suitable for hosting larger parties. Happy to help with further details. Whilst celebrations as described as above are welcomed we do ask that guests are considerate to neighbours and other villagers and that 'parties' are not too noisy / run too late into the night. The house doesn't suit traditional 'parties' with loud music, lots of guests and noise but quieter and relaxed get togethers it's perfect for. The local shop is about 2 miles drive away so plan ahead and make an internet shopping delivery - there is lots of fridge and freezer storage space. Big stores can be found 20 minutes away in Ashbourne or 30 minutes drive away in Leek or Buxton.
