Cabin - Litjstuggu ‐ Øvermoen Småbruk

Welcome to an adventurous stay. This is the perfect stop before or after the atlanticroad, or if you're just passing by. We offer you a separate small newly renovated guesthouse with a kitchen and living room in one, separate bedroom and toilet. OUTDOOR SHOWER (please look at the pictures so you know what to expect). On our small farm, we have many animals; free-range chickens, ducks, rabbits, dogs, cats, horses and llamas. The location is rural, car is the preferred means of transport. Welcome The space Rural location means that you have a lot of untouched nature and nice walking experiences just outside the doors. At this small farm, you can freely pick eggs right from the chicken coop for tomorrow's breakfast. Feel free to cuddle with the animals at the farm if you like. Outdoor shower with hot water is free to be used. There is a nice fire place is right outside the door. It's only 4 km to Orkla, which is a popular salmon fishing-river. Guest access By appointment and at extra cost, the following can be used/ borrowed/ agreed: - Jaccuzzi for 1 hour (500 NOK). The Jaccuzzi holds 39 g celcius. Needs to be pre-payed and can only be used within the agreed time. You have to take a outdoor shower before bathing! - 2 canoes lying in fresh water 2 km from the small farm can be lent (spring, summer, autumn). (200 NOK) - fishing equipment for freshwater fishing in water about 2 km from the house (summer and winter). (100 NOK) - Hammocks with mosquito nets for accommodation in nature (other hiking equipment such as sleeping mats and sleeping bags must be brought by guests) (100 NOK) Other things to note The cabin has underfloor heating in the living room, free-standing heater, vacuum cleaner, heating shelf for shoes. Washing machine is in the barn and can be used by the guests (be sure to connect the water, just ask if you need help). Let us know if you need a drying rack. The cabin has no indoor shower, but there is an outdoor shower with hot water for free use (look at the pictures so you know what to expect). Many animals live on the farm. This is not the place if you need a non-allergenic stay. It can be nice to know that our 3 cats can jump in the windows if you leave them open. Please DON'T let the cats sleep in the beds or other furniture ;) We aim high in relation to cleanliness, coziness and well-being and hope our guests do the same. We ask that you leave the cabin in the same condition as it was when you arrived. With that, we ask that you take off your bed linen before departure, and place this and used towels on the mat by the front door. Also asks that you clean up, vacuum and take out rubbish before departure. If this is not done, we will charge a cleaning fee after check-out.
