Each upstairs room has a separate deck entrance as well as an entrance from inside the main lodge. Each room has a bathroom. Onsite hosts, Anne and Chris Reimer share their property with guests, assist with planning your adventures; hiking, snowmobile & ski trips and sight seeing. L Big Powderhorn resort offering food & entertainment during the winter season is within blocks of us. Black River Valley Pub is across the street. Suffolk Street Eatery offers custom catering onsite. Snow River, Whitecap, ABR, Wolverine ski nearby. Snowmobiling out the door and onto the trails plus back country tours available upon request. Copper Peak Ski Flying hill and Adventure Ride is 6 miles north on Black River Scenic Byway before you reach 6 stunning waterfalls and Black River Harbor where Black River meets Lake Superior. Stroll across the wooden Black River suspension bridge for agate picking along Lake Superior shoreline, hike the bluff trails or the North Country Trail. Book a room for 2 or the entire lodge - Rooms are all different starting at $100 and accommodate from 2 to six people each room. Pets are not allowed as we have several St. Bernards of our own who prefer not to have dog-guests. Rooms are set up simple & lodge-style without individual TV or landline phone. TVs are in living area, Rec Room and byob bar/lounge has smart TV, typically with sports films playing, also there are quieter areas and fireplaces. During your stay Hosts, Chris and Anne have been running the Lodge for years and are still exploring the area. Join us on an adventure or share your own. We'll share all the information we have on the area and have an Adventure Guide binder in the dining area to help plan your day. We are on-site to handle anything that you have questions about. We have dogs & a large garden and projects & stay out of everyone’s way.
