Spring, when the blossom is out, would be a particularly lovely time to visit this well-kept property – it is located on a small farm that grows fruit and vegetables – or come later to enjoy fresh cherries and other produce. If you’re artistically inclined, set up your drawing board at home or take a short drive to the 11th-century Ponte della Maddalena.
