The cottage sits within vast private woodlands, shared with just one other property but with its own separate driveway, garden and hot tub. Both homes can be booked together to sleep up to 12 guests. Whether you’re an early riser heading out for a peaceful dog walk or an adventurer looking to explore further, the park’s network of trails provides endless opportunities for walking, cycling, picnicking and wildlife watching. Keep an eye out for deer, woodpeckers and owls that make this area their home. For those who love the water, Bawsey Bay Watersports offers activities on the Great Lake, including paddleboarding, kayaking and open-water swimming — perfect for adding a splash of excitement to your stay. After a day spent in nature, take a ten-minute stroll across the park to the charming Sandboy Pub, a local favourite serving lunches, cakes, cream teas and hot and cold drinks (open Monday–Saturday, 10am–2pm). Please note that the water may not be fully warm on your first evening — we promise it’s worth the wait for fresh, sparkling water. Each dog receives a thoughtful welcome pack, including: Dog bedding/throws, Food and water bowls, Doggy bags, A fun toy and tennis ball and a few tasty treats. The fully enclosed garden provides a safe space for dogs to play and explore, so you can relax knowing your furry friend is happy, comfortable, and secure. We aim to respond to any questions or inquiries within a couple of hours and always strive to do right by our guests. If we cannot accommodate a booking request for any reason, we’ll confirm this as quickly as possible.
