Little Ings is a self contained one-bed apartment on one level and is an ideal base to visit the historical City of York. It is a great starting point for walkers and cyclists (bike storage available) as well as being perfect for guests who prefer just to relax! With attention to detail, hopefully all your comforts have been considered for you to have a holiday to remember. Skylights flood the living area with natural light and the double doors brings the outside in!. A short stroll from Little Ings takes you to Millfield Park - a reflective garden, woodland and parkland. If you don't want to use your car then there is public transport to York, Thirsk and beyond. At Little Ings there is the facility for a fold up single bed to be used, if required for an additional guest but would have to be used in the sitting area due to space. Infants/children are welcome but please note that no baby/child safety equipment is provided. We do have a travel cot if required. Please contact prior to booking if this facility is required. In the bedroom there is ample drawer space and a hanging rail. Open all year around. Sorry no pets allowed due to the main house having four cats, a resident hedgehog, dragonflies, squirrels and a variety of garden birds. Arrival is from 1500 hrs onwards ( we do our best to accommodate earlier, if we can) and departure before 11.00 am. Little Ings is a smoke free zone. Additional amenities. The local shops are a few moments walk from the accommodation and are open early until late. Guest access Your own entrance onto a courtyard with a screened area and seating. The dedicated off street parking is adjacent to the annex in the centre of Easingwold. For guests with mobility issues, there is a step into the accommodation then all on one level. A key safe is on the property for self check in but we love to welcome our guests if we can and answer any initial queries you may have about the accommodation or area. Other things to note We are trying to do our little bit to support the protection of our planet and therefore have changed from mini disposable toiletries to refillable dispensers, using a better range of products for you to enjoy during your stay. There is a welcome box in the property which should answer all queries and give ideas of places to visit whilst you are in Easingwold - if you are looking for recommendations please ask.
