Savona was built around 1830 & is a Grade II listed house which has retained much of it's charm, with a wealth of period features, having been sensitively restored to bring it into the 21st Century. It is equipped to a very high standard to ensure a real home feel, with comfy beds/white cotton bed linen & towels. It is a very spacious house, great for sharing with friends and family. Comfortable furnishings & plenty of space for everyone to enjoy together or on their own. The space SAVONA has recently been re-furbished to a very high standard keeping the houses warmth & character giving a very welcome feel. The house is beautifully decorated throughout with some 'quirky' touches. A very spacious house that has a warm & cosy feel in the winter, but is cool and welcoming after a hot day lazing in the summer sunshine. It is a wonderful house for sharing with friends & family. Children are welcome - there are 3 travel cots with 2 with mattresses (one on each floor) available. 1 high chair plus a child seat for on a chair. ENTRANCES One through the basement to the rear of the property & main entrance on ground floor. BASEMENT 1 twin with sink 1 bedroom with king size bed freestanding bath in the room & small ensuite toilet/sink. Separate large shower/toilet/sink. Utility with washing machine & dryer/ironing board/iron etc. Door to the outside & parking area. Dog friendly area - large dog house cage. (PLEASE NOTE DOGS ARE ONLY ALLOWED IN THE BASEMENT AREA - see later notes) MAIN ENTRANCE Through the Iron gate up the steps to the beautiful front door leads to the ground floor which opens into large hallway with traditional staircase leading to other floors. GROUND FLOOR Dining room with large dining table which seats 14 & has sea views from the lovely bay window. Modern kitchen with everything you need from garlic press, large saucepans to feed you all after a day on the beach to plastic cups. Dishwasher/large oven with hob & fridge freezer. Kitchen table & chairs. Bathroom with large shower/toilet/sink. FIRST FLOOR Beautifully appointed sitting room with plenty of comfortable seating, sea views, 50” Smart TV, large chest of board games, games table, drinks cabinet, etc. Quirky bunk room (large enough for adults) or 2 children - lower fold up bed allows for room to place a cot. Double Room with ensuite shower. Small toilet on the landing. SECOND FLOOR Twin room with access to en-suite/'jack & jill' bathroom with large freestanding bath. Main bedroom with large ensuite & super king brass bed. Both rooms have sea-views. LOFT Accessed by a small staircase to landing leading to: Twin room with sink - views over the town & sea-views of the Brigg. Single room with sink. The 'jack & jill' style bathroom is available for use by both these rooms on the floor below. PARKING One space available to the rear of the property. Free street parking is available. DO NOT PARK directly outside Savona as there is a dropped curb and you will be FINED - it is clearly marked with a thick white line. Guest access The whole house is accessible. Other things to note ABSOLUTELY NO PETS ARE ALLOWED IN THE HOUSE. SHOULD IT BE EVIDENT THERE HAS BEEN A DOG IN THE HOUSE A CLAIM WILL BE MADE FROM YOU THROUGH AIR BNB. UNFORTUNATELY WE HAVE HAD TO TAKE THIS DECISION DUE TO DISRESPECTFUL GUESTS. Such a shame. Absolutely no parties allowed in this property. Please do not stick banners & decorations to walls in the house - any damage created by them will be charged for. We would appreciate if this could be respected. NO CANDLES TO BE LIT IN THE PROPERTY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES - thank you. There are battery operated remote candles in the dining room & sitting room.
