Large 4 bedroom home- sleeps 8 Belton, Doncaster

Our large 4 bedroomed family home is set in the peaceful village of Belton just 2 mins drive from the M180. It offers spacious living accommodation with a garden backing onto open fields with many paths to explore the Lincolnshire countryside. It is ideal for a family gathering or business colleagues. It is close to the historic town of Epworth and within walking distance of local pubs and takeaways. Yorkshire Wildlife Park is a short drive away; York and Lincoln are less than an hours drive. The space Our large detached home provides comfortable homely accommodation for both small and large groups including families meeting together or work colleagues . It has a very large front drive with space for several cars (6+)and has a large back garden with outside seating available on request. The kitchen has a back door opening onto the paved patio area. There is a free view TV in the lounge ( please note it does not context to the internet ) and the dining kitchen is well equipped with crockery, utensils, pots and pans, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, fridge . Tea and coffee are provided and guests may also help themselves to any of the herbs & spices left in the cupboards. There is a utility room with a washing machine, iron and sink and also a downstairs toilet. There is a tumble dryer in the garage and a small tabletop freezer which can be switched on, if needed, prior to arrival . There is a large hallway with space under stairs for coats and shoes. The pine stairway leads to 4 bedrooms , each with its own storage space . There is also a travel cot & high chair available. The house is easily recognisable as it has a colourful stained glass window on the landing. The main bathroom has a power shower and jacuzzi bath as well as a sink and toilet. The twin room is ensuite with a smaller shower, toilet and sink and the king sized bedroom is also ensuite with a toilet, sink and shower. Towels and bedding are provided although guests often bring their own. . There is wifi too. It is available for short and long term stays for which a discount is given so please guests are free to enquiry about this. Due to the space and number of bedrooms/ bathrooms it is a good place for large groups and a great place to relax. Its location makes it ideal for business trips in Doncaster, Scunthorpe & Sheffield as well as family breaks in the quiet Lincolnshire countryside known as the Isle of Axholme. We love our home & hope our guests will too! Guest access Guests have access to all downstairs rooms (lounge, kitchen diner, toilet, utility room) apart from a small office which is used for storage and admin and a small bedroom. The main upstairs bathroom with a bath and separate shower is also available and the number of bedrooms available will depend on the number of guests booked in. Two bedrooms( double and twin) are ensuite with a toilet, sink and shower. In the summer months the back verandah is an ideal place to sit leading onto the lawn and a field so is great for families with children. Other things to note My neighbour Jane lives in the bungalow next door and is available for any help, my housekeeper Donna is 5 mins away. As the rooms are carpeted we would be grateful if guests do not wear shoes upstairs or in the lounge . Guests are also required to tidy up before leaving, wash dishes and strip the beds. Long term guests can request a discounted rate and cleaning /change of bedding can be arranged if required at £15 per hour. There is a great fish and chip shop within walking distance and also a Chinese takeaway 5 mins away. The Wheatsheaf pub, situated further down Westgate Road, serves food and there are also many eating places in Epworth which is 5 mins drive. This is a quiet, friendly neighbourhood so ideal for anyone wanting homely space in a beautiful location. Great for cycling and walking; surrounded by other Isle of Axholme villages each with their own character. There is a fuel station round the corner with a shop selling basic groceries and a co-op supermarket in Epworth. The nearest large supermarkets are in Thorne and Scunthorpe . This is our family home rather than a holiday home so we hope you find it easy to relax here. Please note we do not allow smoking anywhere inside the house and unfortunately we do not allow barbecues due to fire risks.
