The Ranch boasts 6 spacious, sunny rooms with 4 large remodeled bathrooms. All beds have new luxury mattresses and have mostly 100% fine cotton linens and sheets. Folks come here to restore and relax. The house is made for entertaining. Each room is sunny, with lots of windows, has expansive mountain, valley or garden views and is tastefully decorated with new carpeting, linens and furniture. The new gourmet kitchen is fully stocked with new appliances, extensive cookware and many dishes, nice wine glasses, pots, pans, baking dishes, 2 drip coffee makers, coffee and more. It has an open bar area with barstools as part of the family room with breath taking views of the valley and mountains. The formal dining room has a large mahogany table and a large serving buffet with beautiful panoramic mountain views and seats 10. Both the family room and large living rooms have comfortable couches, beautiful hickory flooring and gorgeous new carpets and area rugs, featured with banks of tall windows capturing the gorgeous scenery. There is a piano for your enjoyment, yoga mats, small reading library, cable TV, strong Wifi and a variety of games and a BBQ. We also have two extra thick, comfy futons with cotton sheets, blankets and pillows. ROOMS: Bedroom 1: The master suite has a Cal King bed, sitting area and looks out over a rose garden with a stunning backdrop of dramatic mountains. Its spacious bathroom has an oversized tub and a large separate shower. The second bedroom, the Brewster Room, has a double bed and overlooks the front lawn. Its door is within the master suite, so you have to enter the suite for access, but it is private and shares the master bath. The third room, the Cape Room, has a queen, a full bathroom and overlooks the front of the house and gardens. It is very private and quiet, down its own hall. The room is sunny and large, and has a private, spacious full bath. The fourth bedroom, the twin room has two twins with a private door to the back lawn and hot tub area. It shares the bath down the hall. The fifth room, the Blue Sky Room, is a large room with a cal king bed with amazing views: a large bank of windows overlook the Santa Ynez valley, Figueroa mountains, and garden. It uses the full bathroom down the hall. The sixth room is the upstairs suite with a queen bed and a twin bed and a full bath. **A rental agreement is required for you to sign as part of your booking. You agree to meet us at the door between 1-5 pm and no later. Check in may be as late as 3 pm if another guest is checking out the same day.** *A 12% Occupancy tax will be assessed and added to the total cost of the room rate for 30 days or less stays required by Santa Barbara County. * The owner may be living on the property and will not interfere with guests. No washer and dryer access unless you are staying 7 nights or more. Kids are welcome although the house is not child proof as there are no child safety locks or baby gates here :) House is not ADA compliant. *We do not allow pets, so house is pet-dander free. WE SANITIZE AFTER EACH GUEST. We are proactive. In light of the recent virus, please know that we apply disinfectant to all door handles, knobs, kitchen knobs and handles (microwave, fridge, stove), toilet flush knobs, bathroom sink handles, surfaces, door knobs on each and every door, light switches, TV remote and even the keys to the house. Duvet covers are always washed. Entire house, patios and outside lawn. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. We meet all our guests in person at the door to give them the key and show them how to care for the house. HOUSE RULES: No pets, no smoking, no fires/candles, no weddings, no parties/events, a non-negotiable rental agreement is required for you to sign as part of your booking process and for you to distribute to your guests. No washer/dryer access unless you stay a week or more. Check in must be in person between 1-5 and no later. Sometimes check in is at 3 pm if another guest is checking out that day. Check out time is 10:15 am but sometimes can be later if agreed. you agree to meet us at the door so we can show you how to care for the house. You may not reschedule your dates once you book. With over 50+ wineries within a 7 minute drive and many outdoor activities, you will build amazing memories here with all that there is to do and see and taste. The house is built upon a hill overlooking the mountains and Santa Ynez valley, perched on seven acres with lots of nature...quail, deer, bunnies and more occupy the yard and gardens. It is very quiet, private yet close (5-7 minutes) to shopping, wineries. The estate is a 5 minute drive to down town Solvang, 10 minutes to Los Olivos and 5 minutes to Santa Ynez and to the wine tasting rooms. We are super close (5-7 minutes) to shopping, wine tasting and tons of activities such as golf, bike rentals, etc but we feel secluded and private because we are on 7 private acres, high on a hill with great views and serenity. ** A 12% hotel tax will be added to reservations as required by Santa Barbara county on the room rate only at the time of booking. There is a required non negotiable rental agreement for guests to sign before arriving to the premises and to distribute to all guests for their consent beforehand. 12 persons max allowed on the property at any one time. This is my personal home and we keep it absolutely pristine for our guests. We want you to enjoy the ranch but know that this is not the kind of home to host wild rager parties. it has all white carpets in the bedrooms, so please make sure that this house fits your groups' needs. ;) ABSOLUTELY No pets, no parties, no events, NO WEDDINGS, REHEARSAL DINNERS, no smoking.--you may not bring in any audio equipment, speakers , loud musical instruments: *we have a noise meter. *We do NOT allow fire tables, NO candles or any fire/flames on the premises as we are in a high fire area. We do have a BBQ for your use. No washer/dryer available for rentals less than 7 nights.
