Ai Trulli | Between Ostuni & Cisternino, Puglia

One of Puglia’s most iconic and loved Trulli experiences. Cosy and characterful, you might just want to take Ai Trulli home with you after spending a week or two there! But it's not just the houses that have such winning qualities: the lovely gardens and pool are charming too... All within a stone's throw of several of Puglia's loveliest towns! A former member of Thinking Traveller and Think Puglia 2015-2020. This location is ideal for both families and groups of friends who want to maintain their privacy. Upon your arrival you will be greeted by an excellent welcome pack with the typical products of the area. The property is characterized by a main trullo of about 100 but with two bedrooms with double beds and in-suite bathrooms, living room with fireplace, small office area, kitchen, dining table and outdoor patio with wood oven. A few meters another trullo with a bedroom with double bed, bathroom, small living room with fireplace, kitchen. In the lamia, overlooking the pool, there is the fourth bedroom with double bed with bathroom and small corner bar for breakfast, all three structures have an independent entrance and are equipped with air conditioning for the summer. The stone pool (13x7 meters) with salt water equipped with sunbeds and several shade areas is served by an outdoor kitchen equipped with all comforts (dishes-glasses-fridge-fires etc ...) and immersed in a wonderful garden with lawn and centuries-old olive trees. The house also has two areas with patio for outdoor dinners and outdoor lounge to relax on summer evenings. We will have a host available during your stay to assist in anyway and also provide our guidebook of local recommendations and hidden gems. Ai Trulli is set in the heart of the Valle d'Itria, a few minutes' drive outside the charming town of Cisternino. The geography and views in and of this area are what many consider to be the "typical" Puglia. Rolling hills, groves of centuries-old olive trees, trullo cones everywhere you look, whitewashed towns bleached further by the southern Italian sun. But Ai Trulli is close to the beach too: a drive of about 20 minutes will take you to a long sandy beaches of the Adriatic coast, where you can either pitch up where you find a space, or check in at one of the stylish lidos on the coast. Towns not to miss in the vicinity include Ostuni, the whitest of all the whitewashed towns nearby, Locorotondo (literally the round place) and Alberobello (where you will see enough trulli to last a lifetime). Car is essential. guests can book massages and hairdressers at home or organize typical Apulian dinners with our cook Teresa or add daily cleaning for a little extra
